Beware of brokers in California, and other states and countries. Micros do naturally occur in the wild. Research the Pygmy Hog. Most Julianas/Julianis are teacup minis. Three categories or classifications of Miniature Pigs: Potbelly, Teacup, and the smallest is Micro. Teacup Mini Pigs originated at Pennywell Farm in Britain. The Murrays took many, many generations to downsize their Heritage or meat breeds to an adult size between 60 and 125 lbs. Micros are from feral pigs and can be from the teens. TLC PIGLETS classifies a micro under 55 lbs when fully grown. Teen: 13-19 lbs. Nano: 20-29 lbs. Super: 30-39 lbs. Tiny: 40-49 lbs. Small: 50-55 lbs. REALIZE THAT NATURE IS AMAZING. The Elephant Seal male can be 14' long and up to 5000 pounds. IN CONTRAST, The Harp Sea can be up to 6' long and weigh 400 lbs. Consider that a Chinese Pug is a member of the Mastiff Family. Consider the Chihuahua and the Great Dane. They are both canines. Lions and Tigers are huge 400-500 LBS felines. Domestic Short hair cats, and other domesticated cat breeds are also felines. Nature is truly amazing. Killer Whales are the largest members of the dolphin or porpoise family, yet are at least ten to twenty times larger and heavier than your Bottle Nose Dolphin. Consider many deer from around the world. You have your White Tail Deer that is large. You have your Reeve's Muntjac that are 16" tall, and FINALLY, You have the North American Moose. It is 7' Tall and One Ton. And Yes Folks, it is a DEER. Nature has created mini pigs that are as small as a teen micro mini piglet. My experience with our pig “Meatball” and dealing with Trace has been beyond positive. They are completely professional and are ALWAYS responsive to my calls and questions. Meatball is fantastic!!! Sleeps in bed with us every night, was litter box trained in 4 days, was NO problem to train him to do his business outside when he was old enough, is supper intelligent, and loves people (especially children) and dogs. I did a tremendous amount of homework and called on numerous references before finally choosing Trace and TLC. If you choose to adopt a piglet from TLC you’re making the right choice. I was pleasantly surprised at their professionalism and how much they care. There was NEVER a time that Trace did not immediately respond to me.
Good luck and feel free to contact me.

Hortence AKA Ellie is amazing! From the moment I picked her up at the airport, we connected. I was shocked at how tiny she was and hearing her little grunts, I couldn't wait to get her out of her carrier! As soon as we got in the car, she drank water and
nibbled on some of her pellets. She sat calmly on my lap the whole ride home. Just as predicted by Trace, on her first night home she slept in her litter box! I had a little trouble getting her to go potty in the correct spot for her first day or two at home, but once I took Trace's advice by using wood pellets as her litter instead of ripped up newspaper, there was immediate success! She knows exactly where to potty and is very proud of herself every time I praise her for a great job! Ellie is a doll. She loves getting her belly scratched, napping on my lap, and putting her little snout against my nose. My vet says she is the tiniest and best looking mini pig he's ever seen. She was only 4.2 lbs at our first visit! Ellie is adapting wonderfully into my home and bonding with myself and my two dogs. She is worth every second of the wait and I fall more and more in love every single day.
OCTOBER 2012 TESTIMONIAL:
I've been giving you a glowing reference.
Here is a testimonial of my experience
I purchased my TLC piglet about a month ago and it has been an incredible experience so far. It should be noted that TLC Piglets. After losing my Italian Greyhound, Penny, after fourteen years, I was not ready to move into my own place without a special companion. I knew I could never replace her with another dog and family cat allergies were also an issue. Then I saw a mini pig on television and started my research. After speaking to multiple sellers, I decided that I wanted to purchase my piglet from TLC Piglets. Trace prepared me completely before bringing home my piglet, which I know started him and I out on the right foot... Or in his case, hoof.
The woman at the airport said that he was 'as quiet as a church mouse' when he got off the airplane. He did a few small oinks on the way home. At this point, I have learned to identify what he wants by the type of noises he makes!
Edgar (previously known as Becker) is now litter box trained, walks on a harness and leash, and goes to obedience training. He sits on command after just three days and I use a 'clicker' with training. My plan for him is to become a therapy animal so he already very well socialized with children and adults. He plays with my parents dogs and chases them around the yard.
Since his arrival he has seen all of the weather New England has to offer. As long as he has on his sweater he does not seem to mind!
Edgar's first vet check up went smoothly and agreed that I got very lucky to have purchased him from a responsible breeder.
